Role Overview

The DTM Project Assistant will provide administrative, coordination and implementation support to the Displacement Tracking Matrix project in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation and monitoring of project activities.
• Compile, summarise and present programme data and project information.
• Monitor budget availability and follow up administrative approvals and actions.
• Draft reports, correspondence, briefing notes, presentations and statistical tables.
• Organise meetings, workshops and training sessions and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field with 2 years’ relevant professional experience; or a relevant diploma with 4 years’ experience.
• The official advert also requires 4 years’ sector experience involving vulnerable populations, humanitarian emergencies, statistical tools and government liaison.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced people or trafficking survivors.
• Strong logistics, reporting, Microsoft Office and stakeholder-coordination skills.
• Fluent English; relevant local-language ability is desirable.

Contract

Six-month assignment. Two vacancies. Expected start date: 15 September 2026.
