About CTG

CTG provides staffing and operational support to humanitarian and development programmes in complex environments.

Role Overview

The Field Team Leader will coordinate field-level Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) data collection in Taraba State. The role supervises enumerators, checks data quality and supports mobility tracking, registration, flow monitoring and surveys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate field deployment and daily work of enumerators and partners.
  • Monitor data collection quality, accuracy, completeness and timely Kobo submission.
  • Support DTM training, community mobilisation and field sensitisation.
  • Compile weekly and monthly field updates and coordinate safe access to data-collection sites.
  • Apply data-protection, confidentiality and humanitarian standards.

Requirements

  • Certificate, diploma or degree in Social Science, Geography, IT, Computer Science or another relevant field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection and information management.
  • At least 1 year of information-management or DTM experience.
  • Familiarity with mobile data collection, GPS and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent English and working Hausa; a Taraba local language is desirable.
  • Team-monitoring experience and readiness for short-notice field deployment.

Contract

On-call hourly assignment for 6 months. One vacancy. Expected start date: 15 September 2026.
