JOB SUMMARY:

The State Coordinator will lead day-to-day implementation of the IDG pilot in Oyo State and serve as Evidence Action's primary field-level presence with State, LGA and health facility stakeholders. The position is responsible for ensuring high-quality implementation, supporting local coordination and surfacing field-level learning, risks and needs to the Programme Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Coordinate the day-to-day implementation of the IDG pilot in Oyo State in collaboration with State and LGA structures and support the consistent use of programme guidance, standard operating procedures, tools and materials.
2.Support implementation of digital reminders by coordinating the collection and processing of caregiver information from participating facilities and helping facilities and LGA structures identify eligible children and transmit the required information.
3.Support community engagement and other IDG activities while working with health facilities, communities and programme stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation at field level.
4.Support the collection and review of implementation data, identify programme challenges and provide field-level information that can inform corrective action and programme learning.
5.Participate in State- and LGA-level coordination and review meetings, maintain communication with government focal persons, build relationships with LGA and health facility staff and report progress, risks and implementation issues to the Programme Manager. Hausaloaded

REQUIREMENTS:

1.Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Community Development or a related field.
2.At least 3–5 years of experience implementing public health or social and behaviour change programmes at State or LGA level in Nigeria.
3.Experience in immunisation, maternal and child health or nutrition programming is preferred.
4.Experience working directly with communities, health facility staff and/or community health workers.
5.Experience with routine data collection and reporting.
6.Strong field coordination and organisational skills.
7.Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills.
8.Ability to establish and maintain relationships with State and LGA health stakeholders.
9.Good written and verbal communication skills.
10.Problem-solving ability and willingness to travel frequently within Oyo State, including rural LGAs and health facilities.
