Malaria Consortium is an international health organisation implementing malaria prevention, treatment and health-system strengthening programmes.
JOB SUMMARY
The Social and Behavior Change Consultant will support state-specific communication, community mobilisation, advocacy and demand-creation activities for the SARMAAN II project in Adamawa State.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare SBC workplans covering pre-campaign, campaign and post-campaign activities.
- Adapt communication and behaviour-change materials for the state context.
- Develop advocacy plans and support community mobilisation activities.
- Identify and engage community influencers and key stakeholders.
- Support state and LGA campaign flag-off events.
- Monitor SBC and community-engagement activities.
- Provide weekly implementation updates.
- Prepare campaign and consultancy reports.
- Document challenges, successes, lessons and recommendations.
- Complete required campaign preparedness and monitoring tools.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- First degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
- Minimum three years of post-graduation experience.
- Previous experience with AZM or similar campaigns such as SMC, ITN or polio campaigns.
- Experience supporting behaviour-change and demand-creation interventions.
- Knowledge of malaria prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
- Strong leadership, supervision and communication skills.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation capability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
