Senior Technical Officer, Strategic Information

FHI 360 is recruiting a Senior Technical Officer, Strategic Information to provide technical leadership for monitoring, evaluation, data quality, analysis and evidence use under the EpiC project in Nigeria.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and implementation of Strategic Information and M&E frameworks, indicators, tools and reporting systems.
• Oversee project monitoring plans, data-quality assurance, routine verification and performance analysis.
• Produce dashboards, visualisations, technical reports, briefs and evidence products for programme teams, government and donors.
• Strengthen DHIS2 and other health-information systems and support national, state and field teams to improve reporting completeness and timeliness.
• Analyse programme data, identify gaps and trends, and translate findings into recommendations for adaptive management.
• Support capacity strengthening, donor reporting, learning products and project-management deliverables.
• Travel within Nigeria when required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• PhD, MD or DPharm with 3–5 years of relevant experience; or MSc/MA in Medical Sciences, Public Health or a related discipline with 5–7 years; or BSc/BA with 7–9 years.
• At least three years of progressive Strategic Information or M&E experience, preferably within health programmes or an NGO.
• Knowledge of DHIS2, data-quality assurance, health-information systems, Power BI, Excel and advanced data analysis.
• Experience supporting large-scale donor-funded health programmes is an advantage.
