Position: Research Supervisor (2 Positions)

Duration: 6 months, renewable

Location: Ibadan

DUTIES

• Support the establishment and maintenance of forage demonstration plots and feed units.
• Support demonstrations of improved feed formulation and feeding practices at TRUs and pilot farms.
• Collect data on feed use, animal performance, costs, forage and dairy production.
• Record observations on technology adoption, farmer practices and productivity changes.
• Assist with data entry, cleaning and validation using Excel or mobile tools.
• Support field visits, trainings and demonstration events.
• Maintain participant, beneficiary and training-attendance records.
• Support farmers, youth groups and local stakeholders involved in feed innovation activities.
• Assist with monitoring alternative feed technologies, including HQCP production, BSFL units and crop-residue processing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• BSc or HND in Agriculture, Animal Science or a related field.
• At least two years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
• Knowledge of livestock and dairy value chains.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively within project locations.
