JOB SUMMARY

The Public Health Forum Administrator will manage an online public-health community, provide relevant daily information and resources, facilitate meaningful engagement and grow the forum’s reach through digital-community and marketing strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Curate relevant public-health materials for posts and online events.
• Identify topics suitable for webinars, conferences and forum discussions.
• Design and execute strategies for building online communities.
• Develop and consistently implement content calendars.
• Facilitate constructive discussion among forum users.
• Engage individuals, organisations and public-health communities.
• Build relationships with other online health communities.
• Develop strategies to grow forum traffic and reach.
• Maintain appropriate social-media presence.
• Conduct SEO analysis and provide recommendations.
• Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities.
• Create and facilitate collaborative initiatives to increase traction.
• Monitor digital engagement and adjust tactics where necessary.
• Ensure shared information is relevant, accurate and appropriate to the forum audience.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree in Public Health.
• At least one year of experience managing health-related social-media platforms, blogs, groups or online forums.
• Experience planning online campaigns from concept through implementation.
• Strong understanding of social-media management.
• Experience using Canva, Snappa, Stencil or similar design tools.
• Good SEO and SEM/digital-marketing knowledge.
• Strong written communication and community-management skills.
