ABOUT CENSCOPE

The Centre for Social Cohesion, Peace and Empowerment (CENSCOPE) is a national non-profit organisation headquartered in Maiduguri. Its programmes cover peacebuilding, social cohesion, protection, gender equality and inclusion, livelihoods, education, WASH, climate change, health and nutrition. With Malala Fund support, CENSCOPE is implementing a three-year project on Gender-Responsive Education Budgeting in Borno State.

POSITION DETAILS

  • Employment type: Full-time, onsite
  • Location: Borno State

ROLE PURPOSE

Provide programme and administrative support that keeps field operations, documentation and logistics running smoothly throughout implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide logistical and administrative support to field missions and trainings.
  • Maintain activity records, attendance sheets, consent forms and supporting documentation.
  • Support community scheduling and follow-up with participants and monitors.
  • Assist with data entry and safe handling and storage of participant information.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field, with strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • One to two years of NGO administrative or field-support experience.
  • Based in, or able to work across, the target LGAs.
  • Hausa and/or Kanuri is preferred.

DESIRABLE

  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
