JOB SUMMARY

The Programme Service Delivery Quality of Care Officer will lead clinical quality assurance and help position A360 sexual and reproductive health, family planning, maternal, newborn and child health and nutrition services at state level. The officer will support government systems and health facilities to deliver evidence-based services for adolescent girls, young women and newborns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee service-delivery and quality-improvement activities across assigned facilities and LGAs.
• Provide technical assistance for government-system strengthening aligned with SRH and MNCH priorities.
• Establish and support quality-of-care frameworks and improvement mechanisms.
• Strengthen data management, analysis, use and routine data-quality assessment performance.
• Support supply-chain management for essential health commodities.
• Coordinate government, facility and partner stakeholders and align resources for scale and sustainability.
• Support planning, budgeting, knowledge management and reporting.
• Help LGA and primary-health-care personnel deliver results and strengthen their capacity.
• Promote consistent standards of care and measurable health outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• First degree in Nursing and/or Midwifery.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• At least five years’ experience in a comparable service-delivery or health-capacity-strengthening role.
• Evidence of progressively increasing responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting learning and capacity building for LGA and PHC personnel.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
