ABOUT DATARAFLOW
DataraFlow is an Africa-focused, accountability-driven talent accelerator that runs a free six-month learning programme in Data Science, Machine Learning and Generative AI.

JOB SUMMARY
The Program Manager will own the end-to-end coordination and daily delivery of DataraFlow’s learning cohort. The role combines programme operations, participant communication, mentor coordination, platform administration, progress tracking and problem solving. The successful candidate will keep activities on schedule, maintain clear records and help learners remain engaged from onboarding through completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the cohort calendar, milestones, weekly deliverables and programme deadlines.
- Track learner progress, follow up on missed requirements and apply programme policies consistently.
- Coordinate orientation, live sessions, checkpoints and other scheduled activities.
- Maintain clear daily communication with participants and support retention and engagement.
- Recruit, onboard and coordinate mentors, including mentor-participant matching.
- Manage programme activity across Discord, publication sites, learning platforms and other approved tools.
- Maintain accurate participant, mentor, attendance and programme records.
- Monitor cohort health, identify risks and provide timely updates to the Director of Programs.
- Resolve routine operational issues and escalate significant problems promptly.
- Support continuous improvement by collecting feedback and documenting lessons from each cohort.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least two years of experience in programme management, community management, operations or a similar role.
- Evidence of having managed a programme or cohort from beginning to end.
- Strong written communication and confidence handling daily participant communication.
- Practical experience with Discord, Zoho or comparable collaboration and operations tools.
- Ability to work with learning-management systems, online portals and spreadsheets.
- Reliable internet connection and availability during West Africa Time working hours.
- Strong organisation, follow-through, record-keeping and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in data, artificial intelligence and African talent development.
- Experience in edtech, a bootcamp or talent accelerator is an advantage.
- Familiarity with data or AI programmes and experience managing volunteer or mentor networks are desirable.
