OVERVIEW
UNICEF Nigeria is recruiting a Partnerships Specialist at P-3 level on a 364-day temporary appointment. The role supports strategic partnerships, resource mobilisation, donor reporting and partner intelligence for UNICEF Nigeria.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and strengthen the quality and timeliness of donor reports.
- Support donor proposals, concept notes and other resource-mobilisation products.
- Map public and private-sector partners and analyse partnership opportunities.
- Support partner engagement, stewardship and relationship management.
- Maintain partnership intelligence and knowledge-management systems.
- Contribute to an evidence-based Public–Private Sector Partnerships for Impact Strategy for the 2028–2032 Country Programme.
- Prepare briefing notes, talking points, donor intelligence and partner communications.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Advanced university degree in International Relations, Political Science, Communications, International Development or another relevant field.
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in public affairs, programme management, resource mobilisation, external relations or a related area.
- Required experience in partnership development, donor engagement, resource mobilisation and stakeholder stewardship.
- Strong writing, diplomatic communication, negotiation and policy-analysis skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
- UN/international-organisation and fragile or humanitarian-context experience are assets.
