ABOUT ONE ACRE FUND

The Nigeria programme was established in 2018 and is headquartered in Minna, Niger State. It currently serves more than 100,000 farmers through input-credit, retail and agroforestry programmes.

JOB SUMMARY
The Nigeria Recruitment Specialist will represent One Acre Fund’s Global Recruitment team in Minna and work closely with the Nigeria Human Resources team.
The successful candidate will manage high-volume recruitment pipelines, support hiring managers, guide candidates through the recruitment process and help the Nigeria programme meet its staffing targets as it expands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage between 10 and 12 recruitment pipelines simultaneously.
- Review applications and conduct candidate screening for different positions.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, practical exercises and other recruitment stages.
- Communicate clearly with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide candidates with professional support and a positive recruitment experience.
- Work with hiring managers to prepare interview questions, assessments and selection materials.
- Train hiring managers on the organisation’s recruitment systems and platforms.
- Maintain regular communication with Nigeria programme stakeholders on recruitment needs.
- Support the development and implementation of recruitment strategies.
- Respond to urgent staffing requirements while ensuring compliance with recruitment policies.
- Partner with the in-country HR team to achieve staffing targets.
- Ensure recruitment activities transition properly into onboarding and other HR processes.
- Support workforce planning and hiring decisions.
- Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate records and recruitment documentation.
- Promote consistent application of global recruitment policies within the Nigeria programme.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Four to seven years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, human resources or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Experience conducting application screening, interviews and candidate assessments.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian employment and talent market.
- Experience working as a recruitment business partner to hiring managers.
- Ability to influence hiring decisions and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Experience managing high-volume or multi-level recruitment is an advantage.
- Experience using recruitment platforms, applicant-tracking systems and candidate databases.
