Medicaid Cancer Foundation (MCF) is seeking passionate volunteers to support the WalkAway Cancer Awareness Walk and contribute their professional skills to cancer awareness, public health advocacy and community impact in Abuja. Seven volunteer opportunities are available.

ABOUT MEDICAID CANCER FOUNDATION:

Medicaid Cancer Foundation (MCF) is a cancer-focused organisation established to support patients, families and caregivers affected by cancer. The current volunteer recruitment is connected to the WalkAway Cancer Awareness Walk and welcomes healthcare professionals, creatives and public health advocates interested in contributing their skills to awareness and impact.

JOB SUMMARY:

MCF is recruiting volunteers for the following seven positions:

01 | Medical Doctor – Volunteer

02 | Graphic Designer – Volunteer

03 | Video Editor – Volunteer

04 | Content Creator – Volunteer

05 | Nurse – Volunteer

06 | Public Health Practitioner – Volunteer

07 | Radiographer – Volunteer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

01 | Medical Doctor – Volunteer: Support health-related activities connected to the cancer awareness initiative and contribute professional medical knowledge to public awareness and community engagement activities.

02 | Graphic Designer – Volunteer: Support the development of visual communication materials that promote cancer awareness activities, campaign messages and programme visibility.

03 | Video Editor – Volunteer: Support the production and editing of video content for awareness, storytelling, campaign documentation and public engagement.

04 | Content Creator – Volunteer: Create engaging communication content that supports cancer awareness, campaign messaging and public outreach.

05 | Nurse – Volunteer: Contribute relevant nursing and health-support skills to awareness activities and community-facing health engagements.

06 | Public Health Practitioner – Volunteer: Support public health awareness, advocacy and community engagement activities related to cancer prevention and health education.

07 | Radiographer – Volunteer: Contribute relevant radiography and healthcare expertise to cancer awareness activities and public health advocacy.

REQUIREMENTS:

01 | Applicants should possess relevant qualifications and skills for the volunteer position being applied for.
