GENERAL ROLE OVERVIEW:

Program Manager:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating organizational programmes while ensuring programme activities achieve their intended objectives and outcomes.

Creative Media and Content Coordinator:

Responsible for developing creative content, supporting media activities, coordinating storytelling and producing communications materials that strengthen Slum2School's visibility and engagement.

Class Teacher:

Responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting learners' academic development and creating a positive learning environment for children in underserved communities.

Head Teacher:

Provides instructional and administrative leadership within the school, supports teachers, oversees school operations and promotes quality education and learner development.

Executive Assistant:

Provides high-level administrative and operational support to senior leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, meeting coordination, documentation and follow-up.

HR and Admin Executive:

Supports recruitment, employee administration, personnel records, staff engagement, HR processes and general administrative operations.

Corporate Communications Manager:

Develops and implements corporate communication strategies, manages media relationships and strengthens the organization's external communications and public image.

Procurement Manager:

Oversees procurement activities, vendor management, purchasing processes, compliance and efficient acquisition of goods and services.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

Supports programme monitoring, data collection, analysis, reporting and documentation to help assess programme performance and impact.

Documentary Videographer and Photographer:

Creates high-quality visual content documenting programmes, beneficiaries, events, activities and stories of impact.

Community Officer:

Works directly with communities, beneficiaries and stakeholders to support programme implementation, community engagement and outreach activities.

Driver:

Provides safe and reliable transportation for staff, programme materials and other authorized organizational activities while maintaining vehicle records and safety standards.

Spy Driver:

Supports assigned field and operational movements while maintaining confidentiality, discretion, safety and reliable transportation.

Finance Manager:

Provides financial-management oversight, including budgeting, financial reporting, expenditure monitoring, controls and financial planning.

Cleaner:

Maintains cleanliness, hygiene and general orderliness of assigned office and operational spaces.

PROJECT COORDINATOR – ADDITIONAL CURRENT OPPORTUNITY:

Slum2School Africa is also recruiting a Project Coordinator in Lagos under its Digital Future Initiative.

The Project Coordinator will support implementation of a programme designed to equip underserved children and young people with digital literacy, AI, coding and STEM skills.

Key responsibilities include:

1.Implementing Digital Future Initiative activities across designated communities, schools and learning hubs.
2.Coordinating training for digital facilitators, volunteers and teacher trainers.
3.Overseeing digital-literacy training, technology bootcamps, hackathons and demonstrations.
4.Managing project timelines, milestones, resources and implementation risks.
5.Building relationships with government stakeholders, technology partners, sponsors and community leaders.
6.Supporting learner monitoring, learning analytics and surveys.
7.Coordinating project documentation, progress reports and learning-outcome assessments.
8.Supporting M&E reporting and documenting programme impact.
9.Supervising project facilitators and interns.
