Membership Intern – Arabic Speaking (Volunteer)

ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND

ROLE PURPOSE

The Arabic-speaking Membership Intern will support member engagement, communication, onboarding and community coordination across Catalyst Now’s international network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support communication with Arabic-speaking members and prospective members.
• Assist with member onboarding, orientation and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate membership records and engagement information.
• Help coordinate online meetings, events and community activities.
• Translate or adapt basic member communications between Arabic and English when required.
• Record meeting notes, action points and agreed follow-up.
• Respond to routine member enquiries or direct them to the appropriate colleague.
• Support other membership and community-building tasks assigned by the team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
• Relevant education or experience in communications, community engagement, international development, administration or another related area.
• Strong interest in social impact and global collaboration.
