Position Description & Requirements
Jhpiego is recruiting an experienced malaria trainer to support the STOP-AMDR project and the rollout of Multiple First-Line Therapies in Moro LGA, Kwara State.
The consultant will review the approved training manual, facilitate technical sessions on malaria diagnosis and treatment, demonstrate appropriate case-management procedures, guide practical exercises, administer pre- and post-training assessments, mentor participants and prepare training reports.
Applicants must possess a master’s degree in Public Health or a professional qualification in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Paediatrics or another relevant health discipline.
A minimum of five years’ experience as a national trainer is required. Candidates should be recognised National or State Malaria Case Management Trainers and should understand national malaria guidelines, WHO recommendations, pharmacovigilance and current malaria-elimination strategies.
