JOB SUMMARY
The Knowledge Management Officer will support the effective documentation, dissemination and organisational learning of Faith and Cultural Champions Family Planning activities and outcomes. The full-time consultant will report to the Programme Manager and be based in Kano.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain digital and print repositories for family-planning knowledge products.
- Document project successes, lessons learned, innovations and emerging practices.
- Produce monthly knowledge briefs and learning digests.
- Facilitate internal learning events and support wider dissemination of programme learning.
- Develop communication materials and visibility products.
- Capture, curate and package programme evidence, success stories and other knowledge products.
- Contribute to quarterly and annual reports.
- Work with the RMEL team on data visualisation, publications and programme data systems.
- Develop newsletters, briefs and blog content.
- Organise knowledge-sharing sessions and ensure programme information remains accessible.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Communications, Social Sciences or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in knowledge management, documentation, communication, research or related development programming.
- Strong writing, editing, documentation and data-presentation skills.
- Familiarity with digital knowledge-management tools.
- Strong management, coordination and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Hausa-language ability is an advantage.
