ABOUT HSDF

The Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation (HSDF) is a Nigerian not-for-profit organization working to improve decision-making and execution in the health and social sectors.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Team Lead, Information Technology, the IT Support Officer will deliver timely technical support to HSDF employees and contribute to IT projects and operational improvements. The officer will be based primarily in Kaduna and will also provide remote support, vendor liaison, on-site testing and hands-and-eyes support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess, monitor and report Microsoft security events and data-compliance status.
• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, network and user-account issues.
• Install, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals and network equipment.
• Log, track, resolve and escalate service requests and incidents.
• Set up Microsoft 365 accounts, email and workstations for onboarding and offboarding.
• Perform software installation, updates and patch management.
• Maintain IT asset and software-licence inventories.
• Carry out minor hardware repairs and coordinate major repairs with vendors.
• Support implementation of IT, information-security and data-protection policies.
• Participate in system assessments and recommend preventive improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of post-NYSC experience in IT support or a related role.
• Practical knowledge of Windows and Mac troubleshooting, networks, Microsoft 365, device security, encryption, multi-factor authentication, inventory management and service-desk processes.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL Foundation or similar certification is an advantage.
• Strong English, time-management, listening and attention-to-detail skills.

WORK ARRANGEMENT

Full-time; onsite in Kaduna with remote support responsibilities.
