Job Overview
Spring of Hope Nigeria is recruiting an IT Specialist to manage the organization's website and provide day-to-day technology support to staff and project teams in Makurdi.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain the organization's website.
- Manage website security, backups and hosting.
- Troubleshoot website and technical issues.
- Support staff with computers, email and internet connectivity.
- Support workplace software and digital tools.
- Maintain IT equipment and user accounts.
- Help ensure project teams have functional digital tools.
- Provide technical assistance to staff with different levels of IT knowledge.
- Support the reliability and security of organizational technology systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
At least two years of experience managing websites, preferably using WordPress or a similar platform. Practical troubleshooting experience with computers, software and internet connectivity is required. Knowledge of website security, backups and hosting is also required. A qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related field is an advantage.
