JOB SUMMARY:

The Immunization Associate will support the successful implementation, scale-up and sustainability of digital solutions designed to strengthen vaccine supply chains and immunization programmes in four Nigerian states: Kaduna, Kano, Katsina and Sokoto.

The position will work closely with government partners, health system stakeholders and VillageReach teams to support programme coordination, implementation, data quality, monitoring, reporting and evidence-informed decision-making. The role is based in Abuja on a hybrid arrangement and requires willingness to travel within Nigeria. Workable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Serve as a day-to-day point of contact with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) and support information flow, joint planning, follow-up and coordination with government counterparts and other stakeholders.
2.Support state co-design workshops, operational planning sessions and National and State Logistics Working Group meetings by preparing materials, documenting discussions, tracking agreed actions and supporting coordination across Kaduna, Kano, Katsina and Sokoto.
3.Support implementation of the last-mile vaccine stock visibility programme by coordinating health facility verification, baseline data collection, system and data-flow testing, user support and follow-up on reporting or account issues.
4.Monitor the completeness, timeliness and quality of vaccine stock visibility data, identify issues requiring follow-up with LGA and state teams, and support quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, performance reviews and donor reporting.
5.Support programme administration by tracking workplans, timelines and deliverables, coordinating logistics for state visits and meetings, preparing communications and presentations, and supporting compliance with grant and organizational requirements, including gender-responsive implementation documentation. REQUIREMENTS:

1.Bachelor's degree is required.
2.A graduate degree or equivalent experience in Public Health, International Development, Health Systems or a related field is preferred.
3.Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in public health, immunization, vaccine supply chain, health information systems or programme implementation.
4.Experience in programme monitoring and evaluation, including quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis and the use of data for programme decision-making.
5.Experience working with or alongside Nigerian government health institutions is strongly preferred, with familiarity with NPHCDA, State Primary Health Care Boards/Agencies and LGA health structures considered an advantage.
6.Experience supporting donor-funded programmes and familiarity with grant reporting requirements is an advantage.
7.Working knowledge of, or willingness to quickly learn, digital health and data systems such as DHIS2 and OpenLMIS.
8.Strong coordination, organization, follow-through, written and verbal communication skills.
9.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
10.Ability and willingness to travel within Nigeria, including Kaduna, Kano, Katsina and Sokoto States.
11.Strong ability to work effectively with diverse cultural and linguistic groups and in rural, underserved and low-income settings. Workable
