Guidance Counsellor

Candlelight Foundation for Children with Special Needs is recruiting a Guidance Counsellor to support children and families through structured guidance, counselling and psychosocial support.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group guidance and counselling services.
• Support children with educational, behavioural, emotional and social-development needs.
• Maintain confidential case notes and contribute to appropriate referrals and follow-up.
• Work with families, teachers and programme staff to develop practical support plans.

Qualifications and experience:

• BSc, HND or higher qualification in Guidance and Counselling, Psychology, Education or a related discipline.
• Approximately 1–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with children or persons with special needs is an advantage.
• The employer indicates that a male candidate is preferred.

Work arrangement: Hybrid, Lagos.
