Position Description & Requirements
The Graduate Finance Intern will support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions and ensuring compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures.
This internship is designed to provide practical workplace experience and professional development for graduates interested in building a career in finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing payment vouchers and financial documents.
Support invoice verification and payment processing.
Maintain proper filing of financial records.
Assist in preparing bank reconciliation statements.
Support petty cash management and documentation.
Enter financial data into accounting systems.
Assist with budget tracking and expenditure monitoring.
Prepare financial schedules and supporting documents.
Support internal and external audit activities.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
Perform other finance-related duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking and Finance or a related discipline.
Must have completed NYSC or possess a valid exemption certificate.
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Professional qualifications such as ICAN (ATS), ACCA or ACA will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
