IITA is seeking a Financial Management Specialist for the TAAT Programme Management Unit in Ibadan to lead budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, treasury management, internal controls and donor-funded programme financial management.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Financial Management Specialist will lead financial management activities for the TAAT Programme, ensuring reliable reporting, appropriate fiduciary controls and compliance with approved procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Lead budgeting, accounting, internal controls, financial reporting and treasury management for the programme.
2.Prepare and oversee programme budgets, monitor budget execution and track expenditure against approved plans.
3.Lead preparation of interim and annual programme financial reports and maintain financial procedures.
4.Oversee bank reconciliations, advances, treasury processes and financial controls while following donor requirements.
5.Liaise with auditors, procurement personnel and programme management and supervise finance staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
1.Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
2.Minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience, including at least 4 years in a related position.
3.Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.
4.Extensive budgeting, financial reporting, donor-finance and internal-control experience.
5.Ability to work with accounting systems and undertake field monitoring.
