Aleiro, Arewa Dandi, Argungu, Augie, Bagudu, Birnin Kebbi, Bunza, Dandi, Fakai, Gwandu, Jega, Kalgo, Koko-Besse, Maiyama, Ngaski, Sakaba, Shanga, Suru, Wasagu-Danko, Yauri and Zuru.
JOB SUMMARY
The Field Officer will support beneficiary registration, cash transfers, caregiver education and immunisation monitoring at assigned public health facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enrol eligible caregivers and children.
- Follow strict programme eligibility requirements.
- Maintain detailed enrolment and cash-management records.
- Explain vaccination schedules and next clinic dates.
- Confirm vaccinations are administered and recorded.
- Report vaccine shortages and clinic-service problems.
- Conduct health talks and community awareness activities.
- Prevent fraud among caregivers and clinic personnel.
- Prevent unauthorised enrolment outside clinic catchment areas.
- Submit daily immunisation, clinic, cash and expense reports.
- Review clinic registers, child-health cards and tally sheets.
- Track caregivers who miss scheduled appointments.
- Conduct surveys and rapid assessments.
- Maintain relationships with clinic workers and community stakeholders.
- Report supply-side, fraud and security issues.
- Follow security SOPs and movement instructions.
- Complete required training, appraisals and special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Nigerian national already residing in an eligible Kebbi State location.
- Minimum qualification of SSCE.
- A diploma in Health, Natural Sciences or a related field is an advantage.
- Fluency in Hausa and languages spoken in the selected location.
- Willingness to work at remote public clinics.
- Experience with the Nigerian health system is desirable.
- Strong attention to cash management and financial records.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, smartphones and internet tools.
- Strong integrity, diligence and responsiveness.
