Field Officers (Entry-level) – Kaduna State

New Incentives / All Babies Are Equal Initiative is looking to identify Field Officers to support its programme dedicated to preventing child mortality in Kaduna State.

Field Officers will support a cash transfer programme that encourages mothers to complete the immunisation schedule of their infants. The programme is implemented in cooperation with the State Primary Healthcare Development Board. The primary duty of the role is enrolling beneficiaries at public clinics.

Field Officers are full-time staff and must already be based in Kaduna State. Target towns include Birnin Gwari, Chikun, Giwa, Igabi, Ikara, Jaba, Jema’a, Kachia, Kaduna North, Kagarko, Kajuru, Kaura, Kauru, Kubau, Kudan, Lere, Makarfi, Sabon Gari, Sanga, Soba, Zangon Kataf, Zaria and Kaduna South.

Key responsibilities include enrolling eligible beneficiaries, monitoring immunisation services, interacting with clinic staff and beneficiaries, conducting rapid assessments, managing cash disbursement records, coaching caregivers to return for immunisation visits, preventing fraud, reviewing clinic records, reporting stockouts and supply issues, supporting awareness activities, tracking defaulters, maintaining relationships with community leaders and clinic staff, and following all security protocols.

Required qualifications include fluency in Hausa and local Kaduna languages, Nigerian nationality, residence in Kaduna State, minimum National Diploma, preferably a bachelor’s degree in Health or Natural Sciences, willingness to work in remote clinics, experience with the Nigerian health system, attention to financial details and strong communication skills.
