Position Description & Requirements
Evidence Action is building a Talent Pool of qualified Field Enumerators to support Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) activities under the Small-Quantity Lipid-Based Nutrient Supplements (SQ-LNS) programme in Nigeria. Successful candidates will be considered for short-term field assignments as project needs arise. Please note that selection into the Talent Pool does not guarantee immediate deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in enumerator training, orientation, and pilot exercises before field deployment.
Conduct health facility assessments using approved digital data collection tools.
Interview health workers, facility staff, and other relevant stakeholders.
Review facility registers, programme records, and service delivery documentation.
Collect accurate data on commodity availability, referrals, service delivery, and SQ-LNS programme implementation.
Ensure all survey responses are complete, accurate, and consistent.
Submit collected data daily and promptly resolve any data quality issues identified by supervisors.
Comply with ethical standards, safeguarding policies, confidentiality, and data protection requirements.
Support field logistics and coordinate activities with health facilities and local stakeholders.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline.
Previous experience in surveys, research, monitoring, or data collection is an advantage.
Experience using digital data collection platforms such as KoboCollect, ODK, SurveyCTO, or CommCare is desirable.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and travel within assigned locations.

Good knowledge of the local communities and fluency in the local language(s) spoken in the area of deployment.
Key Performance Indicators
Successfully survey at least 95% of assigned health facilities.
Submit complete and error-free survey records daily.
Maintain compliance with survey protocols and ethical standards.
Complete all assigned field activities within agreed timelines.
Maintain a low data error rate and pass quality assurance checks.
Attend and actively participate in all required training and deployment activities.
