Field Assistants

GRENCHI is recruiting Field Assistants to provide practical support during nursery, planting, community-training, monitoring and environmental-event activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support potting, watering, weeding, site preparation and tree planting.
• Complete basic field record sheets when assigned.
• Assist with setting up and closing community trainings, workshops and events.
• Support participant registration, materials distribution and attendee coordination.
• Assist field officers during monitoring visits and help carry equipment and supplies.
• Follow safety instructions and protect organisational tools and materials.
• Report punctually and complete assigned physical field tasks reliably.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum qualification: Senior Secondary School Certificate, WAEC or NECO.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old and resident in Awka.
• No previous formal work experience is required; instruction will be provided on site.
• Applicants should be physically fit, reliable, punctual, willing to learn and able to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work outdoors and across different field activities is essential.
