External Audit Firm for Financial Audit Services – Consultancy

Life at Best Development Initiative (LABDI) invites qualified audit firms to submit proposals for external financial audit services for its donor-funded project in Borno State.

Scope:

• Conduct an independent audit of project financial records and internal controls.
• Review compliance with applicable accounting standards, organisational policies and donor requirements.
• Identify material risks or control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations.
• Produce a professional audit report and management letter within the agreed schedule.

Firm requirements:

• At least 10 years of relevant audit experience.
• Key personnel should have at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience auditing UN, INGO, NGO or donor-funded programmes.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, CPA or equivalent.
• The audit firm must be located outside Borno State; firms in Abuja, Lagos and other locations are encouraged.
