JOB DESCRIPTION SNIPPET:

NTU International is recruiting a Non-Key Expert to support EU-Africa policy dialogue, institutional cooperation, programme governance and coordination under the proposed Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost.

Position Description & Requirements

JOB SUMMARY:

The expert will contribute to policy dialogue, institutional cooperation, programme governance and coordination between European and African stakeholders in the space sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Support policy dialogue between African and European stakeholders.
2.Contribute to institutional cooperation and coordination mechanisms.
3.Support programme governance, steering mechanisms and inter-institutional dialogue.
4.Analyse relevant EU and African Union policy frameworks and institutional processes.
5.Contribute expertise on African space governance structures and relevant regional institutions.
6.Support coordination among European and African stakeholders involved in programme implementation.

REQUIREMENTS:

1.Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Law, Political Science, Space Policy or a related field.
2.Excellent command of English.
3.Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an advantage.
4.Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy and/or institutional advisory work.
5.At least 4 years of experience working on EU and/or African Union policy frameworks and institutional processes.
6.Experience with inter-institutional dialogue, steering mechanisms or programme governance.
7.Knowledge of EU space policy and African space governance architecture, including the African Space Agency, African Union Commission, Regional Economic Communities and relevant regional institutions.
