CONSULTANCY SUMMARY
ActionAid Nigeria seeks a Psychosocial Support consultant to provide structured professional support to staff. The initial contract is for six months, with quarterly psychosocial-support sessions.
SCOPE OF WORK
Plan and deliver confidential individual and/or group psychosocial-support interventions; assess staff wellbeing needs; provide professional counselling or therapeutic guidance within agreed ethical standards; make appropriate referrals where necessary; and submit agreed activity reports while protecting confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The consultant must be a psychiatrist, psychologist or hold a closely related professional degree, with relevant professional certification. A minimum of eight years of proven experience providing psychological support or therapy is required, including evidence of similar organisational assignments.
