KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transport project teams, visitors, partners, staff and approved goods safely to assigned destinations.
• Plan movements with the operations team and Security Unit; follow MSH transport rules and the Nigerian Highway Code.
• Keep trip tickets, vehicle logbooks, mileage and fuel-consumption records; use approved trip authorisations.
• Maintain current vehicle registration, licences, insurance and equipment and submit expense reports properly.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, keep the vehicle clean and ready, arrange scheduled servicing and report faults or incidents promptly.
• Protect passenger safety, vehicle security and confidential staff and project information.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Certificate, valid driver's licence and clean driving record.
• Two to four years' relevant experience in transportation, mechanics, logistics or operations.
• Preferred: English communication, GPS familiarity, NGO or donor-agency experience, vehicle maintenance knowledge and familiarity with Nigerian roads.
• Ability to travel, drive for extended periods, lift up to 20 kg and accommodate irregular schedules.
