Digital Communication Associate – Impact Associate Programme 2026

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

iLEAD AFRICA is inviting applications from young professionals for its 2026 Impact Associate Programme. Associates gain practical experience while supporting initiatives in civic engagement, youth development, democracy and technology.

ROLE FOCUS

The Digital Communication Associate will help communicate iLEAD AFRICA’s programmes and impact across digital platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the development and scheduling of social-media and digital content.
• Draft clear captions, updates, newsletters and programme communications.
• Help document events, activities, stories and programme results.
• Monitor online engagement and support preparation of basic performance reports.
• Maintain digital content files and help ensure consistent organisational messaging.
• Collaborate with programme and design colleagues on campaigns and advocacy content.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

• Applicants passionate about social impact and community development.
• Individuals interested in youth development, democracy, technology or civic engagement.
• Creative, proactive learners with good written communication and teamwork skills.
• Candidates able to work independently and participate in a hybrid arrangement in Abuja.
• Previous digital-communication experience is advantageous but not compulsory.
