ABOUT IMPACT23 INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT FOUNDATION
Impact23 International Support Foundation promotes education, mentorship, inclusion, economic empowerment, humanitarian assistance, food security and collaborative action for sustainable development.
ASSIGNMENT SUMMARY
The organisation requires 25 Online Volunteers to map programme data, stakeholders, services, initiatives and geographic information. The resulting data map will support planning, programme design, advocacy, resource mobilisation and monitoring.

- Number of assignments: 25
- Location: Remote; assignment country is Nigeria
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Time commitment: 16–20 hours weekly

- Selection is conducted by the host organisation, not UNV
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Agree on the mapping objective and relevant data sources with the Programme Coordinator.
- Develop or select a suitable methodology and tool for data preparation, analysis and mapping.
- Conduct data profiling on selected sources.
- Screen sources and extract relevant information.
- Map programme data using the agreed tools.
- Help identify service coverage, resource distribution, underserved groups and programme gaps.
- Support data-driven programme design, advocacy, coordination and monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in data mapping.
- Knowledge of standard data-analysis methodologies.
- A degree in Data Analysis or a related field is advantageous.
- Geospatial-data knowledge is valuable for linking information to locations, attributes and time.
- Fluent English is desirable.
- Ability to work independently in a remote arrangement.

- This is unpaid, short-term online volunteering rather than employment or a UN Volunteer contract.
- No allowance or employment entitlements are provided.
- Successful completion attracts a certificate of appreciation.
