Committed to Good (CTG) is recruiting five Data Enumerators to support Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) activities in Gusau, Zamfara State. The role involves collecting data through interviews, registration, mobility tracking, surveys and field assessments. Successful candidates will work with field teams and partners to maintain data quality, protect confidential information and submit accurate information on time.

ABOUT CTG:

Committed to Good (CTG) provides staffing and operational support for humanitarian and development programmes. Its services include field staffing, monitoring and evaluation, logistics, data collection and other operational support activities.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Enumerator will collect information for Displacement Tracking Matrix activities under the guidance of the DTM Programme Officer, with technical supervision from the Senior Programme Associate or Project Assistant and direct supervision from the Team Leader.

The role involves collecting reliable information on population movements, registrations, flow monitoring, surveys and other assigned assessments. The successful candidate will follow established data collection procedures and work closely with field teams and relevant partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Collect field data in line with the DTM methodology, approved tools and established schedules.
2.Conduct interviews, registration exercises, mobility tracking, flow monitoring and surveys as assigned.
3.Maintain accuracy, integrity and credibility throughout data collection, interviews and data entry.
4.Submit collected information promptly to the Team Leader or Project Assistant in the required format.
5.Support rapid registration exercises and other assessments when required.
6.Work with local partners and field teams to verify and triangulate collected information.
7.Identify operational challenges and report areas where data collection processes can be improved.
8.Protect confidential information and adhere to data protection standards and the humanitarian principle of doing no harm.
9.Demonstrate respect for individual and cultural differences and maintain professional conduct when interacting with communities.
10.Remain flexible and available for deployment or redeployment when programme needs require it.

REQUIREMENTS:

1.A relevant diploma with at least two years of relevant professional experience, or a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with at least one year of relevant professional experience, as specified in the vacancy notice.
2.At least two years of demonstrable experience in data collection.
3.At least two years of experience in the humanitarian field.
4.Experience in West Africa.
5.Fluency in English and at least one relevant local language.
6.Ability to collect information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
7.Good communication, teamwork and community engagement skills.
8.Knowledge of local conditions, language and culture in the assigned area is desirable.

CONTRACT AND WORK ARRANGEMENT:

1.Location: Gusau LGA, Zamfara State.
2.Number of vacancies: Five.
3.Duration: Six months.
4.Start date: 26 October 2026.
5.Work arrangement: On-call/hourly assignment.
