Position Description & Requirements
CTG is recruiting a Country Finance Assistant to support financial processing, compliance, payroll, taxation, banking and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents and track payments.
- Generate and reconcile client invoices and follow up on receivables.
- Support accurate and timely payroll for consultants and staff.
- Prepare schedules for pensions, housing, healthcare and other remittances where applicable.
- Reconcile payroll information with contracts and tax requirements.
- Calculate and process personal income tax, social-security and other statutory obligations.
- Manage cash transactions, bank reconciliations and financial-system postings.
- Support budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, financial reporting and audits.
- Maintain complete finance records and recommend process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is an advantage.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience covering payroll, invoicing and accounts payable or receivable.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Experience with Sage, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality and knowledge of financial and tax compliance.
