Initial Contract Duration: 3 months

Duty Station: Lagos, Nigeria

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support migration-health assessment activities and provide nursing services in accordance with IOM procedures.
• Assist with clinical examinations, health documentation, referrals and follow-up.
• Support infection prevention, immunisation, phlebotomy and other migration-health services within the scope of nursing practice.
• Maintain accurate medical records and protect patient confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years’ relevant clinical experience for Bachelor’s degree holders, or five years for diploma holders.
• Relevant nursing registration and ability to practise the full scope of responsibilities.
• Training or experience in tuberculosis management, mass immunisation, communicable diseases, laboratory testing or public health is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
