Communications and Media Officer

GRENCHI is recruiting a Communications and Media Officer to strengthen the organisation's external voice, visibility, public engagement and environmental storytelling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the implementation and review of GRENCHI's communications strategy and workplan.
• Manage and optimise the organisation's website, digital platforms and social-media channels.
• Produce videos, photographs, graphics, web content, blog articles and social-media materials.
• Document impact stories through interviews with beneficiaries, communities and partners.
• Develop factsheets, brochures, newsletters, annual reports and other branded materials.
• Maintain consistent branding and messaging across communications products.
• Build relationships with journalists and media professionals and identify opportunities to promote GRENCHI's work.
• Support programme teams with communication, visibility and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Film/Multimedia Production, Environmental Studies or a related field.
• Additional training in videography, photography, digital marketing, graphic design or web design is an advantage.
• Two to three years of progressive communications or media experience.
• Demonstrable multimedia portfolio, strong storytelling skills and experience managing social-media accounts.
