JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant will support CORIN’s day-to-day office administration and help maintain organised, responsive operations. The role requires an individual who can coordinate routine administrative tasks, keep accurate records, communicate effectively and support staff engagement with partners and other stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office and assigned administrative activities.
- Organise and maintain office records, correspondence, documents and filing systems.
- Assist with schedules, meetings, internal coordination and routine communication.
- Provide practical administrative and logistical support to programme and office activities.
- Help prepare, organise and track documents required by staff and management.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, partners and external stakeholders.
- Use standard computer applications to prepare documents, update records and support reporting.
- Carry out other reasonable administrative duties connected to the role.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).
- At least two years of relevant experience in an NGO or nonprofit organisation.
- Must currently reside in Kano State.
- Good administrative, organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy and ability to use common office applications.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, partners and stakeholders.
- Careful attention to detail, professionalism and ability to handle records responsibly.
